In parts of the country where it might not have seemed possible to some, former President Donald Trump is becoming more and more popular.
The former president showed this last week in the backyard of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi by holding a fundraiser with wealthy tech industry players that raised almost $12 million, according to the Daily Wire.
David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya, also a venture capitalist, held the dinner at their home in Pacific Heights. The popular show “All-In” is co-hosted by Palihapitiya and Sacks. Depending on the perks, the cost to attend ranged from $50,000 to $500,000. A lot of well-known venture capitalists and bitcoin investors were there.
A member of the Republican National Committee named Harmeet Dhillon said that the former president was “chilling out, happy, and making jokes about AI” at the dinner.
