Woman Still Virgin At 33 Because She ‘Has Higher Standards Than Others’

Lauren Harkins, who shares videos on Instagram under the handle @itslaurenciaga, regularly opens up about her non-existent s*x life to her followers. This blonde beauty from Maine has never been in a relationship, and she proudly calls herself ‘your favorite late bloomer’. She believes she’s offering valuable lifestyle tips and ‘high standards inspo’ to her fans.

In a recent Instagram video, Lauren is seen dancing and miming the lyrics to Enigma’s song ‘Return to Innocence’. The text on the screen boldly states: “No one has higher standards and thicker skin than a 33-year-old v!rg!n.”

She also mentions in the overlay text that feminists might not agree with her views, while some men might label her as ‘expired.’ Adding more context in the caption, Lauren wrote: “When your favorite song is trending. It’s safe to say both sides at their most extreme are just as toxic as the other. “I’m making it my mission to be a voice for the nice and normal people that exist somewhere in the healthy middle lol!”

To emphasize her point, Lauren further added hashtags like #highstandards #onlythebest and #neversettle. Her video sparked quite a reaction from her followers. Some people pointed out she might have misunderstood the concept of feminism.

One commenter clarified: “…feminists encourage celibacy or applaud it a lot of the time.” Another added: “…feminists would actually cheer for this…are for the liberation of women from men.” A third person commented: “This is what happens when you learn words from social media…feminism is sooooo not this.” A fourth agreed and said: “As a feminist – your body, your choice!”

Lauren eventually responded to the comments, posting:

“Hi everyone. It’s been brought to my attention that I may have mistakenly used the term ‘feminists’ in this video. “I was referring to feminists at what I believe to be their most extreme, and was unaware that there is a subgroup within feminism that is also called ‘rad.feminism’. “I did do a quick vibe check of this term online before posting and it seemed to make sense at the time for what I was trying to convey, but as I understand it now, I was wrong and misspoke.

“I didn’t mean to unnecessarily offend anyone. My apologies!” Despite the confusion and mix-up about the term, some followers appreciated her overall message. One person commented: “Good for you doing what you want with your body.” Another enthusiastically cheered: “You go, girl! I wish I was you.”

Someone else admitted they were also a 33-year-old v!rg!n, showing that Lauren’s message resonated with a variety of people.
