Tammy Slaton of ‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Shows Off Her Jaw-Dropping Weight Loss Progress
Her brother Chris Combs, who stars on the show “1000-Lb Sisters,” joined her in the moment and helped her reach her weight loss goal and stay on track.
Tammy Slaton is pleased with the progress she has made and knows that she has reached a big turning point on her way to living a healthier life.

The time Slaton weighed herself was caught on camera and shared on Instagram by TLC, the network that runs the reality show “1000-Lb Sisters.” The video showed Slaton at 281.2 pounds, a weight she hadn’t seen in years. “I weighed 303 pounds the last time I saw Dr. Smith,” Slaton said as he thought back on the visit.

Chris Comb, her confused sister, said something very smart: “That is commendable!” In an admission, Slaton told the crowd, “Chris said he weighs 284 pounds.” I weigh a little less than Chris right now. I feel a little lighter now. To be honest, that’s pretty amazing. I think the last time I weighed that much was when I was in fourth or fifth grade. It’s likely that I weighed 281 pounds. I went from being the “big” baby brother or sister to being the baby sister today.

“How is it that I am lighter than you?” Slaton asked her sister one time. Combs told him, “You are supposed to be a significant amount lighter than I am.” “Because I am short?” Slaton asked in a funny way. The question was in response to something.

Combs talked about how important her wins along the way were and how happy she was for Slaton’s success, even though she made fun of her during the lecture. He told me, “Did I ever imagine that she would be smaller than I?” I have never given the idea much thought, so the answer is no. It is very unlikely that she is smaller than me. She has always been a big person, from the beginning of her life.
In a different Instagram video, Tammy Slaton stops moving toward the next step, which is the skin removal surgery. This information was shown by the camera. Unfortunately, she has had to temporarily stop her growth, even though she has made great work in her efforts to lose weight.
In this scene of the movie, Slaton is talking to Dr. Brad Turner, her plastic surgery. Dr. Turner says she is not ready for the treatment yet, which makes sense. Bending her head showed that Slaton was very upset, which was clear proof that the news had hurt her.

Her comment, which showed how sad she was, was in reaction to a question about how likely it was that more testing would be done. The TV star said, “I just don’t want to get undressed.” She was eager to get rid of the extra skin. She was going to cut off the extra skin. She had already shown that she really wanted to solve the problem.
Dr. Turner says that Slaton is still only thirteen months out from her surgery, even though she has lost weight and looks much better since then. She will also have to wait until she reaches her goal weight before she can start skin removal surgery.
“I am not in the least bit going to tell you, ‘No.’ I am just going to tell you, ‘Not tomorrow,'” The information was shown to Slaton by Dr. Turner. He also said that she would be in the best shape possible for the surgery after losing weight steadily for six months to a year. He said that now would be the best time for her to have the surgery.

She has lost a lot of weight since she weighed 725 pounds, which was her highest weight ever. While on her journey, she has met many difficulties, but she has been able to lose weight. She had bariatric surgery in July 2022, which changed her life because it helped her hit the weight she stays at now.
And as Slaton thought about her wins, she saw that even the smallest ones had been big turning points for her. She talked about what she had done and then said this. She no longer needs help with breathing, not even when she’s asleep. She can walk without a walker or wheelchair. Her many accomplishments have helped her reach these goals. Her life has been completely changed by these big events.
Slaton adds “then it was the ability to fit in a standard vehicle, the front seat, and the belt buckle, without the need for an extender.” This was really interesting. Because of this, the things that other people might think are most important to me are actually the most important things to me.
She made a big step forward in her growth when she decided in 2023 to own her weight problems and take responsibility for them. She said she knew that being her size was her job. In her speech, she said that. There are times when I know I can change things, but I let them get out of hand. As a duty, I have to do this.
The people who are treating her and her family are also very proud of what she has done. Dr. Eric Smith, the medical head of the Kentucky Bariatric Institute, told Slaton about his pride. Dr. Smith has been there for Slaton as he has tried to lose weight.
