Disrespectful Son Gets Epic Note Left On His Door By His Mom

We do our best to raise our kids in the best way possible. We show them what’s right and what’s wrong, and we want to make sure they are looked after, not just when they are little, but for their whole lives.

Sometimes, we have to step things up and show a bit of tough love. This is really important, especially when we’re dealing with a teenager who isn’t being respectful.

There was a mom named Heidi Johnson who found herself in a tough spot. Her son, Aaron, was acting really disrespectful and bratty, just like a lot of other 13-year-olds who wanted to do whatever they wanted.

That’s when Heidi made up her mind to write a letter to her son, Aaron, and stick it on his door. She also posted a picture of the letter on Facebook, not expecting it to become super popular, but it really did!

She felt really hurt because her son was acting like she was just a roommate, so she decided to give him a detailed bill for all the things he would need to pay for. This bill had costs for rent, food, and even the electricity.

Basically, if he was going to act like she was just a roommate, then she would treat him the same way. She ended the note with “Love Mom,” which really showed how much she loved her son.

Once it became super popular, many people misunderstood what really happened and what was said. She explained that she didn’t expect Aaron to cover the bill; she just wanted him to recognize how much things cost. Her goal was to help him see, “what life would be like if I wasn’t his ‘parent’ but just a ‘roommate.’ It was all about teaching him gratitude and respect right from the start.”

She mentioned that before she wrote the note, her son had lied about finishing his homework. She told him that he would lose his Internet privileges, and he responded by saying that he was earning his own money now.

Sometimes, lessons like this are really important, and it’s great to see that she tried her best to teach her son the difference between right and wrong in a caring way.
