The only proper way to deal with the hot summer heat is a relaxing swim. This is true of any mammal, but these two horses from Osgood, Ontario, are enjoying the water to its full extent.

These guys are enjoying the reprieve from the heat but also from the many insects that come out on hot days. It is funny watching them relax in the pond like it is a special little pool just for them.

It’s not enough just to be in the water and a cool off, you also have to relax. When you see the horses dip their noses below the water and start to blow bubbles, you know that they are well and truly relaxed.

It’s a very sweet video and watching these horses play around like kids had me briefly reminiscing about summer. You’ll have a smile on your face after seeing this playful scene. These gorgeous creatures have certainly earned a relaxing afternoon.
