Elizabeth Taylor was a famous actress. She was born on February 27, 1932, in London, England. Her parents were American, so she had both British and American roots. Elizabeth was very beautiful, even as a child. When she was only nine years old, she started acting in movies.

Elizabeth’s first big movie was “National Velvet” in 1944. She played a young girl who trains a horse to win a race. People loved her in this role. She became very famous and many more movie offers came her way.

In her teen years, Elizabeth acted in many more movies. Some of these were “Little Women” (1949) and “Father of the Bride” (1950). Her beauty and acting talent made her one of Hollywood’s top stars.

Elizabeth starred in many well-known movies. One of her best roles was in “Cleopatra” (1963). She played the famous Egyptian queen. This movie was very expensive to make, and Elizabeth was paid a lot of money for her role.
