The haunting song, “Sound of Silence”, was perhaps one of their most successful hits. It was in effect a commentary on the problems of society and the direction it was moving in.
In this video, we see a new duo of talented artists delivering a powerful rendition of the much-loved song, which has gained a lot of attention. The two young men have faithfully captured the essence and soul of the original.
When Keegan and Harkin sing the classic song, you might almost think it was the original artists, they sound so eerily similar. The two young musicians partner well in their duet, much like Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.
The group they are touring with, Celtic Thunder, comes from Dublin, Ireland, and it consists of male singers from Scotland and Ireland. The band was created as a celebration of the Celtic origins and culture of the two countries.
